Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
Not sure about the point cost, but I like the rest of the fun stuff they bring. Decent AV, Damage of 3 until the last two clicks. Regen and Perplex. A dual base piece with poison begs for AP and being surrounded by several characters to distribute the love. In this case, love is pain

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
My new "gotta have" figure from The Brave & The Bold set. The sculpt could use a little better detail maybe but the overall design is very nice.
Those are some really nice powers there too. Stuff I wouldn't even have thought of. That click with 10 attack, 3 damage and Perplex is Woah. Very nice and probably worth the points too.

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
yes... and in many ways we're seeing a finess HoT lacked. A good mix of the undercosted HoT pieces with the just-right B&B pieces should make for competitive, but fun games.

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
I am playing in a Brave and the Bold themed tourney this week and need your help. 200 points, 2 figures, 2 actions, no pogs, 20 points in Feats, max.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
Hard Travelin Heroes I will play this figure, I will play it a lot. This was the one I was looking forward to seeing. Dial is nice, even if it hadn't been I still would have played it but the first two clix are just nice. 2nd click even more so.

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
I don't know if I like the low attack values. They really killed the last version, but all those defense will make her a beast with Fortitude.

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
Ya for 199 points she seems to not have enough dials of good AV. But the amount of clicks with Imperv or Invuln and high defence means she should be hard to put down. Strange that she doesn't have Super Strength and i'm not sure if she should have HSS as I never really have seen her as being that fast. But then again I never thought Superman should have HSS either (he's fast enough but he doesn't fight in a way that reflects the use of HSS) and there's plenty of other characters that I don't think are fast enough to warrant HSS but they have it so I guess why not Power Girl. Of course she gets it when her AV drops down to 8 so it is not really that usefull at that point.

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
OK, I'm quite amused that her Special Power is her cleavage.

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
And the power has just been increased on the cleavage. http://wizkidsgames.com/blog/2010/03/12/869/She has the trait of Super Strength. 199 points makes a little more sense

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
Yea, the added super strength makes her much less horrible. And the fact that her cleavage is not only a power, but EW is just hilarious. They should tweak it a little to not work on certain characters, like most female characters and "certain" males. Although, to be fair, I'm sure just about anyone that sees "them" would be distracted, regardless of "preference". Wow, that came out creepier than I thought.

Metallo!(Scroll down to the bottom) This Metallo beats the heck out of the previous Metallo...

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
Lets combine the old sculpt with the new dial. I'm happy with this one as well, look forward to trying it out

Re: DC Heroclix: The Brave & The Bold
Sculpt aside I like that he has Poison, as EW broadened his actual power too much. Parasite should have EW not Metallo. So the radiation given does 1 damage to normals, but Hercules feels nothing and Kryptonite doesn't work on Herc... brute strength (Metallo's 5 DAM) maybe, but not radiation.
