DC Heroclix: Blackest Night
This image has appeared on WizKids's website. Is it a teaser for Brave & The Bold, or is there another set coming almost immediately afterwords?

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night?
In an statement by NECA they made a reference to the next starter set being "The Most Colorful" set ever. If I can track down the article I will.

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night?
Makes me think we'll see a collector's set ala the original GL core. Considering Brave and the Bold drops in February, that could be the next set. What worries me is that we're going to get (Spoiler'd for those who haven't read Blackest Night)
Lanterns based on the most recent issue of Blackest Night. Blue Lantern Flash, Orange Lantern Luthor, Yellow Lantern Scarecrow and so forth.
I'm not a huge fan of the spoil'd turn in the story, which has been good so far. None the less, it does look like that might be the next set.

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night?
WizKids has updated with a look at the Red Lantern Mera figure. One one hand, it looks like a GREAT sculpt. I do, however, have two misgivings... 1. It's a shame that this is the first non-pog Mera figure. She should have a "standard" version. 2. Puking red plasma energy looks cool in the comic book, but looks downright bizarre in 3D land.

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night?
Yeah it looks like she just tripped and impailed her head on an iceberg that is now covered in a bloody mist of instant death (since her body is still in motion, you see).

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night?
I think it's the angle of Mera to the dial base...if they had made her more horizontal, it might not be quite so bad.
Having said that, I think the figure looks really good...you know, for a rage vomitting Atlantean...

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night?
WizKids keeps up the previews with the next figure on the color wheel, Orange Lantern Lex Luthor. No reservations about this one... the fig looks AMAZING.

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night
I can't imagine what this guy's dial will look like. Here comes Sinestro Corps Scarecrow.

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night
Have the revealed dials reflected simplicity because it's a starter set or some more in depth (although not confusing) powers to match the characters? Is it more of a Danger Room (good prices, but low powered and kind of matches the characters) or a LoSH (more powerful and respective of the characters)?

No dials have been revealed, just the sculpts.

Re: DC Heroclix: Blackest Night
That Flash is ridiculous...starting HSS 14 mov, 3 damage, and a special power to perplex friendly characters...
Thank god they made him have the boot speed instead of flying...though I can't tell if he has a range value or not from the sculpt (I would assume so based on the power ring...but then again I would assume he could fly for the same reason).
Oh, and that sculpt is simply off the hook (no other words accurately describes this)
I think this will be my first HC purchase in over 2 years...
