Getting busty is no excuse for missing. I got quite busty over the last month and still managed to get on the site in between my wet T-shirt contest victories and carressing myself.

Hilarious and disturbing, all at the same time! Makes me wonder if we're talking baby business-change implants or moobs.

Well the moobs weren't coming in as quickly as I wanted so I went with the implants... but my insurance didn't cover them because they claimed they were for "entertainment" purposes.

A lot of things happened in a very short period of time (positive things despite the disruption) and I had a very short window to give you all notice. Unfortunately I couldn't get onto the site when I had the opportunity. More later. A lot of catching up to do now.

Cool beans and welcome back. The playoffs are set and good to see my post spark some discussion!

Look for the Season 6 brainstorming thread. I've got a couple ideas already. :D

That forum contains rounds 2-8, and will soon contain 9 and 10 as well (just waiting for G&G to post the first playoff round). And as Badger said, round 1 was the Black Capes Scandal with an 800 point build.

That actually brings up 2 questions.

1: Do you use the same map as the scenario had originally?

B: Is the build total pre-determined and then the scenario applied afterwards? There is a chance that one of the top 4 could want to play spoiler by doing either the zombie scenario or a big enough point game that the lower captain is "maxed out" for the remaining rounds.

Good questions. Map and build stay the same, but the zombie scenario isn't allowed as there would be either too great an advantage or disadvantage due to the pt size and the everyone getting KO'd.

I'll send a PM for the home teams to respond to.

As soon as HofA gets his scenario in, we'll get the Round 1 threads up.

Can I have a quick run-down of how things are gonna work in the playoffs? I've heard mention of home teams but are unsure what they mean and how it figures who is playing who. I'm guessing they're the top 4 teams but that still doesnt help me much.

If you'd like to bow out I'd gladly represent the Doom Patrol in the Playoffs...

heh

2 - HofA 9-1 7,098
3 - Badger 9-1 5,680
4 - Impulse-ive 6-4 6,245
5 - BoyMullet 6-4 5,438

My quantum of solice is that I faced (and lost) to these guys as well as two teams that one would have been ranked 8th had they not conceeded. Though a single win by me in any would have only effected Impulse-ive (had it been against him). Time to rebuild my strategy.

Brings up the question: Who faced the most playoff bound teams?

EDIT: oh I guess I didn't lose to all 4 of them... forget my solice... :(

I'm note sure if i played anyone else

1 - Aquajock 9-1 7,297 (Faced and lost, Still can't believe he rolled the 10 he needed)
2 - HofA 9-1 7,098
3 - Badger 9-1 5,680 (Faced and Lost not being able to finish off Supes or Grayson)
4 - Impulse-ive 6-4 6,245
5 - BoyMullet 6-4 5,438
6 - Shazam! 8-2 7,267 (Faced and won an ugly match)
7 - mwposse 6-4 6,032
8 - PantherCult 5-5 5,335 (Faced and lost Badly)

Hmmm, my pathetic record didn't even involve many of the playoff contenders this season:

1 - Aquajock 9-1 7,297 - Faced in Round 3 and lost - though rolling a 5 or better on my first attack might have changed everything in that one.
2 - HofA 9-1 7,098 - Faced and lost because Hero's dice continued to be unstoppable.
3 - Badger 9-1 5,680
4 - Impulse-ive 6-4 6,245 - Faced and won
5 - BoyMullet 6-4 5,438 - Faced and got annihilated by Vet Hyperion in the low gravity.
6 - Shazam! 8-2 7,267
7 - mwposse 6-4 6,032
8 - PantherCult 5-5 5,335

So, either I can look forward to getting lots of revenge in the post-season... or more likely that means I'll be totally overmatched from the get go.

Yep, I did, and Shazam would have been another 9-1 I faced had he not been absent...

You don't know that for sure :P. And if he was one of the 9-1's, I would not have been one.
Does JoePa need to turn it up for you?

How good is your hearing?
