1. Not sure if he deserves the #1 spot, but Richard Pryor was the inspiration for most of the Top Ten modern day comedians!

10. Jeff Bridges not getting robbed like Mickie Rourke was. "First you do an Iron Man Villain, then you win the Oscar."

When Barbara Streisand (sp?) said something to this effect "This could be the first female director or the first african american" all I could think was "Man Spike Lee gets no respect." So I checked... worse he has never even been nominated. I haven't seen Precious, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say it wasn't better than every single Spike Lee joint.

5. Steve Martin was pitch perfect... good to see him funny again.

4. The dance segment was sick! Great interpretation of the cinematic scores while telling a modified story...

3. Christoph waltz won best supporting actor for his role in Inglorous Child born out of wedlock. He was the best part of that movie and he is what made me want to keep watching it.

Same reason Jamie Fox got supporting for Collateral. In IB Brad Pitt made more $ and in Collateral it was Tom Cruise taking in the cash.

Actually Bats would be wrong...

A supporting actor performs roles in a play or movie other than that of protagonist. (wikipedia)

Thats how the academy determines it for the most part:

A performance by an actor or actress in any role shall be eligible for nomination either for the leading
role or supporting role categories. If, however, all the dialogue has been dubbed by another actor,
the performance shall not be eligible for award consideration. Singing that is dubbed will not affect
the performer’s eligibility unless it constitutes the entire performance. The determination as to
whether a role is a leading or supporting role shall be made individually by members of the branch at
the time of balloting.

Has nothing to do with Cash.

Yeah, otherwise Michael Keaton would've been the supporting actor to Jack Nicholson in Batman. :P

1. The amusement brought by Daring D's meltdown over Sandra Bullock's win.

{not saying I agree with him, just very amusing. Also lots of swearing... though the filter catches it all. Oh and "maneuvering" is appearently the plural of the f-word on CM. Knowing this will help you not to get lost early on.}

What the fudge! This is Panda Droppings absolute maneuvering Panda Droppings! Sandra Bullock best actress at the Academy Awards. Whose Richard did she have to suck to get an Oscar nomination? She must have maneuvering half the Academy to pull this Panda Droppings off. What the fudge, it’s not even a performance. She had a Panda Droppings accent and a Panda Droppings spray tan. She maneuvering gave a better performance in The Proposal. She is not an “Actress” Streep is an actress. Every role Streep does she transforms herself. She should have won the Oscar because she’s a maneuvering actress she made me forget she was Streep she was Julie Childs, she owned that roll. Carey Mulligan also gave a worth performance, give it to her yes she’s young but fudge them. They give it to a Panda Droppings performance. They could have given it to the girl that played Precious, that was acting a transformation took place. I haven’t seen The Last Station nor do I plan to but I’m sure Helen Mirren was 10 times better. The character Sandra plays is a controlling Female dog; but everyone said she played such a great person. What the fudge? Whatever the fudge the real person’s name is took in Michael Orr so she could maneuvering get the perks of having a “Black child” fudge that noise. In interviews with the real person she screams controlling Female dog. I mean fudge the trailer shows Sandra talking down to Michael Orr. Why the fudge did anyone feel the need to make this a film? Let it stay a book/news article. Don’t turn it into a waist of two hours and money. Everyone in my family loved it, my mother, my cousin, my grandmother. fudge The Blindside it’s a Panda Droppings generic movie. Not a film a maneuvering movie. It does nothing to raise the industry to a new level. Nothing stands out about it. It is simply generic Panda Droppings. It is not a great sports film its maneuvering made up Panda Droppings. Michael Orr came out and said they made up some of the stuff for Hollywood. fudge that. Great Sports move…fudge. Raging Bull, Rocky, Any Given Sunday hell even Remember the Titans are great sports films. This maneuvering Panda Droppings isn’t even a good film, its Panda Droppings. The Academy nominated it only so it could get ratings. fudge the film fudge Sandra Bullock and her Panda Droppings performance. Damn it man, Panda Droppings like this is what is wrong with the film industry. Why anyone thought this was good is Panda Droppings, its maneuvering racist. Michael is the only black guy who goes to school all the other black characters live in the hood and pop caps and Panda Droppings. But it’s so heartwarming…fudge. fudge terrible acting terrible Panda Droppings racist simplistic story telling. fudge it Streep is the winner in my mind.

I'd like to petition the MoDs to now replace the word "suck" with "Koriand'r" and "Richard" w/ "Grayson" ... Please?

That is funny. I hadn't seen it, but that's a nice glimpse into the egotism involved. LOL!

10) That's a toss up between that guy sitting at the bar in the cantina and George Lucas' role in the movie. ;)
