50$ Challenge

Postby RogueEffect » Tue Jan 12, 2010 4:12 pm

If I were to spend 50$ on the best read I can get what would I buy?

Batman, Superman, Marvel, DC doesnt matter.

Something fairly complete - can be a recent trade... got the itch to read something.

Peter & Max Piper of course. It was brilliant! Just sublime in its execution. I'd say just as good as "The Good Prince" TpB for story and emotion.

I wasn't sure if he'd try to tie it to Pan, but I think Willingham dropped that story in to the American Fables that Jack is dealing with in his book. You're quite right though it could have been Peter Pan. Its a brilliant tie-up of all the Germanic-ish Fables history. A must read.

Peter Pan is still under copywright in Great Britain, so it's unlikely that Willingham will be able to do anything with that property.
